Editorial Policy
This page explains how our articles are made, so you can judge how much to trust them.
How we choose topics
We start from the questions readers actually search for in each market. Typical examples: how to deposit in your local currency, what the fees really cost, whether an exchange is safe.
Each language has its own topic list. We don’t publish an article just because it exists in another language.
How we check facts
- Official sources first: exchange fee pages, terms of service, official announcements, regulators and central banks.
- Secondary sources are labeled: when only news reports are available, we say so in the text.
- Every number has a check date: fees, bonuses, dates and amounts come from our internal fact sheets, where each one has a source link and the date we checked it.
- No guessing: if we can’t confirm a number, we don’t publish it. We write “see the official page” and link to it.
How often we update
- Fees, promotions and terms change often. We recheck them whenever we update an article, and when an exchange announces a change.
- Each article shows when it was last updated.
- Weekly recaps describe one week. After publishing, we only edit them to fix errors.
How we correct mistakes
We recheck our articles against their sources on a regular schedule, and whenever an exchange changes its official information.
When we find an error, we fix it, update the article’s last-updated date and add a note at the end saying what changed. We don’t quietly rewrite facts.
Security incidents are always covered
If an exchange we cover is hacked, freezes withdrawals or faces major regulatory action, we write about it. This includes exchanges we have referral links with.
We state what happened, how it was handled and what it means for you, without hiding or exaggerating. For example, our reviews and referral articles cover the Bitget hack of September 2026 and the Binance hack of October 2026.
Referral links don’t buy opinions
Referral deals do not affect rankings, ratings or what we criticize. Exchanges do not review or approve our articles before publication. See our affiliate disclosure.
AI-assisted writing
We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and language. Editors review every article, and every number is checked against the source on our fact sheet before it goes live.
Responsibility for what we publish stays with Satovela Editorial.
We explain, we don’t advise
Our articles explain how products and markets work. They are not investment advice. See our risk disclaimer.
